A lucky day, found snowy owl at Island beach state park .

King fisher caught a fish

It was December 7, winter season.  I went to East Hanover wetland pond and tried to shot some winter birds like hooded merganser etc. When I parked my car I  heard the rattle sound coming from a little tree, I did not believe my ears. Is the Kingfisher there? After 5 or 10 minutes, the bird suddenly toke off and disappeared from my photo field. When I found it again, it already caught a fish and stayed on a branch.  After the bird did several swirling and hit fish against the branch until the fish unmovable, it started to enjoy its fresh catch.

repeat this action for several times

make sure the fish could not fight it back

it is safe now to enjoy the meat
